This is a slide in my friend’s power point about how those around her changed her to who she was today. We look like a bunch of awkward kids and that’s all we are but sometimes the world decides someone needs to grow up faster than others but I for one will never forget the Autumn of 2011. I couldn’t express even if I wanted to how much I loved this season. My favorite season of my entire life. I could go on and on about it. How we went to DQ after practice and Kelsey threw her sundae at me and I couldn’t catch it on time and it landed on Brandy’s thigh. Ahaha and then it got all over the floor and we did a shit job of trying to clean it up. Then Brandy kept trying to get me to steal a plastic spider and when I finally did she lost it and only found it about a month and a half ago .__. Then I had to use the bathroom and what do they do? They leave without me but thankfully they stayed in the parking lot. Then there was this game that I showed up to in a cow costume. It was our last game and well YOLO. I remember we lost that game but I had fun playing one last game with everyone. That season I discovered that I defense was my position not forward or midfield. I remember having to get together in a group circle to ‘resolve our team problems’ and almost everyone bagging on Alyssa, except me. I remember one practice when I was trying to kick the ball on concrete I completely missed and ended up throwing myself onto the ground. I was bleeding so much but I just couldn’t stop laughing. I now have a scar on my upper right thigh because of it. I can’t forget this season, nor the friends I made in it.
